At least here we can see more honest opinions and not only polished marketing content. Jewelry is another category where quality can be very different from photos.

Price is important to me, but quality and comfort are even more important in the long run. I have learned to avoid items that look extremely different in every product photo. If they reply politely and give detailed answers, I feel more relaxed. Recently I have been testing several online eyewear shops to compare frames and lenses. Very thin fabric may be fine for summer but often looks cheap and becomes see through.

Footwear is even harder because different brands cut shoes very differently. This is why I like reading and posting on forums and community websites. The main things I look at for glasses are frame weight, hinge quality and lens coating. For daily use items I try to balance price, build quality and real user feedback. When a store shows clear shoulder width, bust, waist and length, it is much easier to choose. Reading comments with real body photos is one of the best ways to check sizing. Of course we all have different taste, but patterns still appear in long discussions. Sometimes one good quality item is better than five very cheap ones.

At least here we can see more honest opinions and not only polished marketing content. Nobody wants pretty shoes that hurt after ten minutes of walking.
